Hello this is Matt on the moon Lambo Channel if you're an xrp holder who Participates in the xrp community on Social media you probably have noticed In recent days there's been a lot of Rumor circulating about a settlement Between the SEC and ripple and there's No shortage of crypto media articles uh Writing about exactly that topic Including the one that's on your screen Right here um and sorry to to dash hopes Here but the reasons being cited uh for This this settlement um are not they are Not founded in reason and or reality so I'm sorry to dash hopes now I'm not Literally saying it's impossible for SEC And ripple to work out some sort of deal But what I am saying is that the reasons That I've seen bandied about uh for why This would in theory happen do not make Sense that's all I'm saying that's it um And I'm also not particularly optimistic That we're going to see some sort of um Agreeable outcome between but anyway Setting that aside um things are still Looking pretty damn good for us xrp Holders xrp is legal Clarity I know We're in the cusp of a major bull run Here despite the recent pullback um I've Never been this excited of being crypto Honestly I never have because this is The most like or best position rather That I've ever been in crypto and I'm Sure that that's true for many of you

With the xrp lger being a public Blockchain the way that it's coded um Once escrow time you know the time That's has been a lowed for an escrow Comes to an end there is a technical Process where you have to go in and Actually unlock it but any human on the Planet can do that and frequently uh There's a I can't remember the guy's Name but there's one um um xrp Community Member in particular that frequently Over the years has made it his goal to Go in and be the one to unlock it Because when you do that you can Actually include a note in the memo line And so he'll write some funny and silly Stuff and we all get a kick out of it And crypt media covers it and I've Talked about it on my channel too um so I don't even know I didn't check cuz it Doesn't matter but it may not have been Ripple that unlocked it and I'll note That there was an instance within the Last few months or so of memory serves Um where for for for a reason unbeknown To me I don't know what happened but Even though the escrow you know it can Be unlocked at the first of each month It was maybe like a couple weeks after That that it was actually unlocked and So then there were all sorts of rumors Back then that it was going to be for Some sort of specific purpose this or That and in this this case for whatever
Reason uh it wasn't unlocked um on the First even though it could have been uh Because the time had run up for that Particular escrow and so now people Because the timing is what it is right Now are put rumors that uh it's because Ripple needs the money and there's going To be some sort of settlement this or That uh I just don't buy that doesn't Make any damn sense we've seen this Happen before uh this is certainly not The first time and frankly like if You're talking about just the amount of Money that that would be worth like Ripple already has that much money in a Bank account they've said that publicly So it's not like they need necess Depending on what the funds what the the Agreement would be it it's not Necessarily the case that they would Even need that right now so uh but no I Just I don't think that the SEC and Ripple are going to be agreeing on any Sort of specific terms but I really Don't I don't think that's probable We'll just you know we'll just see what The judge comes to what conclusion she Comes to but anyway peace continues for Context Ripple recently unlocked a Staggering amount of xrp from its escrow Accounts data from Crypt tracking Service whale alert shows that the Company unlocked 500 million xrp from Escrow in two different transactions
Yesterday while the first transaction Released 200 million xrp valued at $13.63 million the second transactions Contained $200 million uh sorry 200 Million xrp with $13.89 million the recent transaction Surprised the broader Community given That the crypto payments company usually Unlocks xrp from its escrow accounts on The first day of every month so that's Okay that's the reason I wanted to Highlight this because the author of This doesn't seem to be aware that it's Not even Ripple frequently that does it And it doesn't it doesn't matter when It's unlocked because the time's up for The escrow at the same time regardless Of whether it goes through the technical Unlock process it doesn't matter and so If there's if Ripple's not in a rush to Do that then there you go and that's Been the case before and so all sorts of People were covering that um and I Understand why like I mean it's you know I'm not saying all of the speculation Was uh unreasonable but you know to Think that they'd be doing this for that Purpose no that just doesn't that Doesn't make sense to me um and then We've got this Ripple's top lawyer makes Important clarification as legal battle With SEC rages on and I don't need to Read the article I'm just going to go Straight to the source here there's a
Post shared by my fellow xrp YouTuber Crypto Edie and she wrote and this is on April 12th she wrote southern district Of New York civil and criminal Proceedings calendar a week of April 15th 2024 Ripple final pre-trial Conference on April 16th at at 2: p.m. And then he tagged a few attorneys and Said we'd love to hear your you know Your insights so on and so forth um and John deon's crypto law organization did Respond to that and it turns out that's Actually not happening which I didn't Know either so uh crypto Eddie thought That that was going to be happening um I I wasn't aware that that actually had Shifted either honestly uh but here's What John Dean's cryptol organization Had to say on April 12th Eddie there Will be no trial those matters were Dropped below is the schedule for Remedies briefing posted by James phin Attorney filin that's the schedule that Is pending always rely on Jimmy for These things this schedule item was set Before the SEC dismissed its case Against Brad Garin house and Chris Larson and apparently hasn't been Updated it happens on court calendar Sometimes Unfortunately so since the charges Against Garland house and Larsson have Been uh thrown out because they were Bogus anyway the SEC has capitulated

From political uh Politico skybridge Capital founder Anthony scaramucci also Reportedly donated the maximum amount as Did Gemini co-founders Tyler and Cameron Winkl Vos skyi who served an extremely Brief stint in the Trump Administration In 2017 tells political that Warren Represents all the worst things about Politicians in the US yeah so I would Agree with that probably the worst Senator that there is right now the Worst sitting Senator CU she's just She's so anti- and so I'm not going to Get into political stuff but Specifically I mean because look I only Talk about anything political uh in so Far as it has something to do with Finance and crypto specifically and here It most certainly does it they're Jumping into my world now so yes I'm Going toine on that but I won't be Preaching politics here that's not what This channel is for but um what whatever Side of the alley you're whether you you Consider yourself to be more on the left Or on the right that's fine um we we Certainly Have a you know sufficient overlap Having interest in crypto regardless you Know um but just I'll say I'll say Something I said last time I topic came Up you know do whatever you want to do Just recognize that if you're if you're Going to be voting in that particular
