Have odl related sales with the US Nexus And not being able to do so is really Not a huge deal we can still do odl in The United States so long as xrp is Never sourced from Ripple well I think By the partnership with uphold they have Absolutely solved for that and uh for me It's now the the perfect rant for for us Financial institutions to start using Odl which I think they've rebranded Again from xrapid to odl to now Liquidity right I think they call crypto Liquidity but um now I don't think There's any reason why financial Institutions can't use xrp and crossb Payment flows so that really makes it Exciting you know something that just Popped in my head wasn't it uphold like Two years ago that did the Tweet um they Did the tweet it was like xrp is $1,000 What do you do now or something like That they did and you know what it's I Remember that I don't even think it was A year ago I thought it was it was a Pretty it was a pretty aggressive tweet Literally I bet you that tweet was in The last six months it was something Like that but uh that uh that's a very That just popped in my head randomly Just now yeah you know I I saw the Uphold Executives there at the the Ripple proper party um and and I thought It was really cool that they were there I actually had a chance to chat with

Right for it actually because there's Only one issue Left the bed sales but it is a pred Basically what that means is what does Ripple have to pay so um in the bigger Picture I don't think it's a this is a Case where let's go all the way and We're going to set presidential value I Don't think a California judge is going To look to a New York trial order for Presidential value and so if the only Issue left is what does Ripple have to Pay I mean I don't see why settlement Wouldn't be in the short future you see Jeremy I agree with that but I've been I've been thinking that this case was Right for settlement for a long time you Know but before the release of the hman Emails I thought that that was going to Be a great chance for settlement when This decision came out um and before the Dismissal what your wife was talking About using the dismissal of the Executives uh as as a negotiation employ To get a a hired you know penalty from Ripple uh but it it just does never Seems to happen so so what's your take On settlement do you think it's going to Happen or do you think we're this is Just a 770 million and we're just Starting the fight so I'm I'm getting up A little bit because I'm getting ready To run because I'm gonna disagree with My wife uh oh I mean it if you look at
This from a typical from a private Litigate standpoint this case is heat up For a settlement I this if this was uh You know Corporation a vers versus Corporation B this case would be settled Before the end of the year right yep but What I what I realized recently digging Into some of the SEC cases they don't Operate like a typical Litigant and they just haven't in the Past and I don't you know I don't know What goes on in the rooms with the Meetings about what they're going to do But they just don't seem interested In a settlement in this case for some Reason and and I just don't know why but From what I've seen in okay now I'm Going to get you to his bold prediction I think it's at the 30 30 Mark let me See let's see here we go right here yes Um where how does this end how does this When when all said and done how does This case end this case ends And I'm I'm calling this one for the First time ever you heard it first on Crypto law this case Ends at an appeal by Ripple on its Blue Sky defense and the second circuit Agrees with ripple and uh Ripple walks Away with the Big W across all three Categories of Sales whoa that is a bold bold Prediction thank you thank you for
