Hello this is Matt on the moon Lambo Channel just a few short hours ago xrp Lost its number five spot in market cap To salana and not surprisingly there's a Certain number of xrp holders out there Who are getting hit in the fuel Fields Over this they're having a little bit of A hard Dam over this so I'm here to uh To save your day if you're one of those People I'm going to make you feel a Whole lot better because I think it Makes no logical sense to be feeling Down over this and by the way at this Point at the time I'm recording this P Has been going back and forth actually In and out of that that number five spot So number five number six number five Number six I've seen it go back a number Of times just within the last half hour Or so but and this is also totally Foreseeable I made a video about this Already literally 11 days ago warning That there was a reasonable chance that This would happen this shouldn't be Catching anybody off guard so I'm going To share with you some thoughts on this But before going any further I do want To be clear I do not have a financial Background of any kind I am not offering Financial advice and you definitely Should not buy or sell anything because Of anything I say right I'm just an Enthusiast who enjoys making YouTube Videos about crypto related topics but
Just as a hobby and just for fun look at The headlines here it's disaster it's Blood in the streets here's from this This one's actually not that bad but From FX Street salana surpasses xrp as Fifth largest cryptocurrency by market Cap salana price sustains above $76 and Here's another one from you today salana Price skyrockets Bears liquidated Massively as salana dethrones X RP xrp To thr well that makes me a Sad Panda But as I said it's been going back and Forth so at the time I'm recording yes Salana is number five oh there you just Saw if you were looking at the screen You saw it anyway salana was in number Five when I flipped to this tab and now Xrp is in number five it's just been Going back and forth a bunch of times so It's right there and maybe salana will At least for the foreseeable future even If just for the short term you know end Up in some sort of firm spot where we Don't see this constantly going back and Forth but even that doesn't doesn't Particularly matter to me and here's the Video that I made literally 5 years ago Xrp may lose number five spot in market Cap and I put it out certainly not to Cause fear if you listen to the video Know that what I was doing was trying to Prepair people because this whole thing Investing in crypto it is basically a Battle with oneself because you are Your
Own Worst Enemy when it comes to Investing so I was trying to head this Off and anybody that might have negative Feel feels uh then if they saw that Video my my hope would be that maybe Instead of emotionally responding you Could just logically respond and I I Just just wanted to share my perspective That's it not to tell you what you Individually should do because I'm not Offering Financial advice and I do not Know what is best for you individually But in terms of taking out the emotion Yes do that use logic data and reason Right and then in terms of the question Of does this actually mean something's Wrong with xrp firmly no um here's a Post from attorney Bill Morgan on December 7th um noting that it did seem Inevitable that salana was going to Overtake xrp and market cap at the time Solana's market cap roughly 29 billion Xrps a little shy of 35 billion but it Had been ticking up because salana has Just been on an absolute rampage this Year um you can see here for those of You care look at the screen over the Last year it's up 539 roughly pretty impressive now of Course salana was in the gutter a year Ago so it had more ground to Reg but Gain but not to take anything away from It it's had sub substantial performance I don't hold any uh nothing against it I
Just happen to not there's over 20,000 Coins and I can't hold everything um But um but today attorney Bill Morgan Posted the following I referencing of Course slon and xrp I said this flip Seemed inevitable on December 8th but I Thought xrp would hold on to number five Spot a little longer than just 12 more Days it is hard to hold on when another Coin does over 11,643 in 5 years salana has gone past Many coins in that time and by the way He said 12 days he's in Australia and I'm in the United States central time so That probably accounts for the Discrepancy in terms of me saying it's 11 days and he him saying it's 12 days And disagreeing on what date is but um But I respond and so here are my my Thoughts in in to pretty much in Totality on this and it is just it is Not some sort of negative thing but I Here's what I wrote I agree and very Recently I made a video warning people This may happen and by the way um if Anybody's curious I wrote so I wrote This at 7:45 central time this morning At the time recording this it is now uh 8:54 a.m. Central Time here in the good Old Midwest of the United States here And I then wrote salana has only been Around since 2020 it's common for a Newer coin that has success to have Returns of over
10,000% because when it's new there's Almost no money in it for example it Doesn't take much new money flowing into Something to double a $1 million market Cap but it takes a lot more money Flowing into double a$1 trillion market Cap that's why from the beginning of 2017 to 2018 xrp was able to rise about 880,000 Per. it can't do that again in a single Cycle just like in 2017 there's no way Bitcoin could have comp competed with Xrp and risen 880,000 per. there was Already way too much money in Bitcoin by Then if Bitcoin had risen by 80,000 in 2017 Then it would have been worth about $700,000 $700,000 folks maybe it'll be Worth that one day but there's not a Snowballs chance in hell it would have Such a percentage return in 2017 as There was already way too much money in It for that to happen and not enough new Investors supply and demand for that to Occur I'm not surprised to see xrp Briefly lost its number five spot to Salana at the moment I type this xrp is Number five again as salana went on a Run before xrp did this cycle it's very Normal for all coins to move in and out Of positions in market cap having either Nothing or very little to do with Fundamentals or long-term viability of The coin in question that said if xrp
Markets hadn't been artificially damaged By the SEC I believe xrp would be worth Way more today and this likely wouldn't Have occurred and so I'll pause to State Here and I've said this before but There's always new people coming on the Channel worth repeating here my personal Belief is that if not for the X the SEC Xrp in 2021 would have hit a new All-time high um I don't know what it Would have run to whether it's 10 bucks 15 bucks 20 whatever it would have been Uh but xrp is the only coin that did not Hit a new all-time high that was in the Top 10 cryptos by market cap Color Me Surprised right and so if it had hit 10 Bucks 15 bucks 20 bucks whatever it is So say it crashes down you know 70 80% Whatever well that would have meant that Xrp at a bottom way higher than what we Saw because what did xrp get down to in June of 2022 I think that's when its low Was anyway would it get down to like 27 Or 28 cents well we probably would have Seen a low of depending on the gains What would have been two two bucks three Bucks four bucks five bucks but a bunch Of money didn't fall like so I mean it Is what it is folks but I I just I don't Think that we'd be even having this Discussion today so wrote The Following but for over 2 and a half Years uh wait did I miss That oh yeah uh actually I'll just read
The last sentence because I think it Will help maintain the flow of what I The point I was making better that said If xrp markets hadn't been artificially Damaged by the SEC I believe xrp would Be worth way more today and this likely Wouldn't have occurred but for over two And a half years all sorts of people all Over the world didn't invest money in Xrp that other wise would have that Money doesn't just flow into xrp at the Snap of a finger just because xrp Achieved legal Clarity xrp will have to Heal over time and I believe that it Will this is also why I'm genuinely Impressed with the resiliency of xrp in 2020 in 2021 people were predicting xrp Would either go to zero or lose its top 10 position in market cap neither of Which happened that is very telling that Shows a lot of true long-term conviction For xrp so that was my initial Response and I firmly believe all that That's why this is a big nothing the Fact that coins are jockeying for Position is very normal even large cap Coins even Xrp um there's nothing wrong with this Happening it's very normal I I and again I don't think we'd be having this Discussion if the SEC hadn't done what It did xrp would probably be number two Or number three in market cap right now But it is what it is we'll just be
Adults about it right um and attorney Bill Morgan responded to me and wrote uh All true Matt the Paradox in this market And you alluded to it in a response to One of my posts earlier this week is That despite the incredible quick Short-term fluctuations and volatility In the crypto Market it is essential to Remain patient and keep a long-term Perspective yeah and so I certainly Agree with attorney Morgan on this 100% No discrepancy whatsoever here and this Is What It Takes and that's why I wanted To make this video real quick cuz I know There are some people out there that are Going to be having a seriously hard time With this and thinking oh something's Wrong my God all this money and the Legal Clarity why isn't it doing the Thing why would it be doing the thing it Hasn't popped off yet it's moving in Tandem with the rest of the market Unquestionably it is and we're having You know to this point at least the time Of recording this we're having a pretty Good day in fact Bitcoin was briefly It's slightly below 44,000 but was Briefly above 44,000 um right before I Was recording this or maybe I didn't Look at it when I I was recording According this was on the screen a Second ago it might have been then too Uh xrp is up 2.75% bitcoin's up 3.68% Over the last 24 hours salana is up
7.59% but you whatever good for salana Holders I'm sure some of you out there Listening hold salana and good for you If you've made a bunch of money I'm very Happy for you very genuinely that's Great there's a lot of coins out there And so my xrp hasn't been doing as much Awesome saw stuff recently in terms of Price action but a lot of my other stuff Is and then in the future that stuff Won't be and xrp will be That's how this is always gone this is I've been doing this for over six years That's always how it's been why would That change and certainly not in the Near future youtility doesn't even Sufficiently matter I mean it does Matter but I would argue not Sufficiently which is quite subjective But that's what I believe and so anyway I wrote back to attorney Bill Morgan and I said yep we certainly agree I know This development with xrp losing a spot In market cap is going to depress some People but as far as I'm concerned this Is just another day and it's not a big Deal it was also completely foreseeable That this may happen on the flip side People have already forgotten that just A couple weeks ago xrp was a stone throw Away from taking the number four spot in Market cap from BNB that's binance coin This is all pretty normal jockeying for Position really and so do any of you
Remember me uh bringing that up on my Channel or did you notice for Yourself xrp within recent weeks I don't Remember exactly when I'd have to look At the charts but I I brought it up on My channel and I was like there's a Chance that xrp might reclaim that Number four spot from B&B it was that Close and it and it didn't um and then Salana is running now so Sal it's not Like xrp xrp is performing good today It's doing well it's just that salana There's more demand for it right now so More money's flowing in you know I mean Relatively speaking enough to well I'll Say it like this enough for the Percentage increase that we've been Seeing right it's it's not bad uh There's an xrp Community member named Gama who wrote to me and said xrp Deserves to be passed by Salana so many so soal xrp fans out There and so little of them Participating in the xrp ecosystem so I Looked at that with my head cocked a Little bit like a confused dog and I was Like huh and I just respectfully Disagree everybody's entitled their Opinion that's perfectly fine but Deserves to be passed by Sal it depends On what you mean by that because I don't Think that xrp deserves to be in the the Position that it is being artificially Suppressed for two and a half years we
Shouldn't even be having this talk but That aside let's talk about people not Participating in the xrp ecosystem which Is objectively not true it's not that's Not an opinion it's objectively false What he said said there so um he can he Can have his own opin he deserves his Own opinion on um you know whether not Xrp deserves a certain position that's Fine that's subjective but uh Participation so and so forth no that's Objective we can track that so here's What I wrote I disagree with your Assertion that people are not Sufficiently participating in the xrp Ecosystem the amount of developer Activity has been increasing as has been The number of new wallets there are Multiple metrics that show xrp is going In the right Direction and so I thought I'd just mention that as Well so anyway hope everybody's feeling Okay there everything's just fine this Isn't some sort of big deal hey look if You're looking at the screen again you May notice xrp just went from number Five to number six again this is this is Not a big deal folks it doesn't matter And then when xrp runs then it'll be Higher in market cap again and it's very Plausible that xrp could be running Substantially in the short term what if It what if it does what a lot of Analysts are expecting it even if it's
Not going to break to all-time highs in The coming weeks maybe it takes longer Than that but it what if it does double In price what if it's over a buck well Then it's going to take that spot back Maybe it's it'll Blaze past binance coin And then we'll talk about that too Because that's also plausible it's very Plausible that that xrp in the short Term could end up in the number four Spot and then if you look a little Further out why couldn't it be battling Against eth again once it really starts Going and then you'll see that all of This and all the panic and all the this The comments of people just feeling Obviously their emotional comments You'll see that all of that never Mattered that's why I'm putting this Video out because like I said at the Outset we as investors as as holders of Cryptocurrency we are Our Own Worst Enemy making piss poor financial Decisions based on feel feels that is a Terrible idea so do whatever you want if You think it makes sense to get out of Xrp go for it I'm not going to stop you Maybe you're right maybe that's right For you go for it I don't know I don't Know what right for you but it's not Right for me and I'm not going to do it Because I believe xrp is going to hit a New alltime high in Enterprise Discovery That's what I think is most prob I don't
Know if that going to happen but that's What I find to be highly probable so I'm Going to sit here and continue to wait I've been doing it for over six years And I will continue to because I frankly Don't suppose we're that far away as Long as this Market is as hot and doing What a lot of analysts think it's going To do meaning Bitcoin hits new all-time High if that happens uh hold on their Hats folks it's going to be a fun time I'm not a financial adviser you should Not buy or sell anything because of Anything I say or right that would be a Very very very bad idea until next time To the Moon Lambo
