Hello this is Matt on the moon Lambo Channel just the other day I highlighted The story that's on your screen right Now Ripple CTO responds to claims Ripple Suppresses xrp price with trading Bots Long story short not true not a thing Ripple's not suppressing price um I'm Going to share with you just to get you Caught to speed of you know something That David Schwarz did say but as a Result of the Fallout from this Conversation there have been additional Accusations accusations that David Schwarts is literally lying about Ripple's xrp sales now these are serious Accusations but are they these Accusations grounded in reality no I'll Tell you at the outset I'm not even Going to tease you on it it's silly Nonsense and David Schwarz addressed Them so I'm going to share with you the Continuation of this discussion and it's It's just everybody's entitled to their Opinion but man the internet I oh damn Internet Like it's it's like where people go to Shed logic and reason sometimes that's That's what it seems like to be but Before going further i' shared with you Exactly what went down here I do want to Be clear I do not have a financial Background of any kind I am not offering Financial advice and you definitely Should not buy or sell anything because
Of anything I say or right I'm just an Enthusiast who enjoys making YouTube Videos about crypto related topics but Just as a hobby and just for fun all Right so um as far as these accusations About Ripple uh suppress the price of Xrp of course Why would they intentionally do that it Doesn't make any damn sense uh it's in Their best interest that we have a Healthy and vibrant xrp ecosystem they Stand the most to lose if that isn't the Case they want the price to go higher Yes they sell some xrp along the way but As I've been highlighting literally for Years on end the xrp that they're Selling is a fraction of a percent Typically uh it's it's nowhere near the Type of volume that you would need to See to in any sort of detectable wayp Suppress the price of xrp now if there Was a lot of that getting dump all at Once yes you would see the market take a Hit but because it's done over a span of Years and ultimately you'll see decades I'm sure uh it's not going to be Noticeable and yes if that xrp didn't Didn't exist then you'd see a different Price 30 years out uh compared to the Fact that it doesn't it's being Distributed I don't deny that but it's Not harming the health of the xrp Ecosystem especially when you factor in This point right here this was and I

That be is the market getting dumped on Idiot Sticks no it's not it's not the The problem if you want to know why in a Nutshell the price isn't higher it's Because the greater issue it's it's Almost never a Supply in crypto it's Demand or lack Thereof if you want to know why xrp Price isn't higher it's because there's Not more demand that's way more Important than uh any sort of Supply That's getting from Ripple's hands into The broader xrp ecosystem but get 51% Increase in salana in three years xrp is Way less but salana is ahead of it by One market by one position in terms of Market cap right so clearly whatever Ripple is doing is a non-issue it's just It's just facts folks logic data reason Can we just use that crap let's just use It and so David Schwarz um he he got called out um and Uh well actually get to the latest in Just a second but um when there were These claims that Ripple is actively Suppressing price David Schwarz noted That Ripple stopped programmatic sales Of xrp and he shared this this grab from I think it was uh which which it's a Ripple insights piece right uh so this Would have been one of the quarterly Reports uh the important parts right Here Ripple has continued to sell xrp Only in connection with odl transactions
And so any any sale of xrp outside of Odl that's what was known as Programmatic that that's what it is and So that that was shared on February 16th Reposted by attorney Bill Morgan who Said some in the xrp community want to Believe it's Ripple controlled Bots or Ripple dumping or the escrow that Suppresses xrp's price before that it Was Jed mb's Taco Stand wallet well that Ran out in 2022 when programmatic sales By Ripple stopped in 2019 what's the Next Theory yeah kind of kind of kind a Good question here well we got something We sure as hell got something um but I I Want to note this CU um somebody asked David schwarz's question can you provide More detailed definitions of Programmatic uh and in connection with Odl so what's the difference between These types of transactions so um he Actually does flush this out and then he Gets grief from an xrp Community member So that'll be the next thing I share With you but I want to make sure that We're all on the same page here Understanding what this is because he Took the time to explain this to us and I appreciate that so David Schwarz wrote The Following sure programmatic sales Are sales that take place on exchanges Generally by market making with a slight Net bias towards reducing the amount you Hold effectively you sell an asset by
Helping other people both buy and sell That asset but on net you sell more than You buy sales in connection with odl Occur when someone wants to make a Payment somewhere using Ripple payments For example say someone wants to send Mexican pesos one way they can do this Is by buying xrp from ripple at the Moment they need to make the payment Send the xrp to a Mexican exchange Uh exchange that xrp for MXN the Mexican Peso and then use a payment provider to Make a Mexican domestic payment to the Recipient if Ripple buys back fewer xrp Than sold in that payment then that is a Net sale in connection with Odl and so there you go it really is That straightforward this is not dumping On the Market just it plays out the way that it Does naturally and it has been for years And years and years and again the odl Transactions the amount that ends out Into the the wild as a result of this It's a fraction of of a percent of Global xrp volume so it's a big nothing In the end but still we get crap like This this is from an xrp Community Member named random guy Xrp uh he reposted David Schwarz um Comment on X stating we stopped Programmatic sales of xrp in the screen Grab he reposted that and random guy xrp Uh Mak some big claims here he says this
Is the first time I caught someone from Ripple basically lying to the xrp Community he is misleading the community By saying that programmatic sales Stopped since q1 2023 but we can clearly See them get greater than 700 million Xrp lighter in Q4 2023 David Schwarz is misleading us to Believe they stopped dumping xrp while In fact they actually found another way To dump xrp and then he tagt some people And said oh ge's we need to be open and Critical about this and so I read that And I just had one of those looks on my Face even before seeing the response to This it's like you know a confused dog With the sideways head like H I was like What did I just Read and so David Schwarz did respond to This and it's sad he even has to do this But he goes I'm misleading people about How much xrp we're selling and how we're Selling it by posting an excerpt that States clearly how much xrp we're Selling and how we're selling it yeah Exactly it literally it's on the screen That they're selling XR via odl Transactions this is publicly known I Already shared with you just a moment Ago a second post uh noting that there Are still these odl transactions this Part here highlight it again I just read That for you a couple minutes ago he's Describing how odl works and how xrp
Gets out into the wild as wild as a Result of this existing that's what he Did there is no secret this has been Publicly known for years uh and so David Schwarz shares a post saying yeah we Don't do the programmatic sales anymore Stopped that years ago uh but here's Here's uh some figures As far as the U net effect with Regarding the odl cells so it's it's Right there and then you have this guy Come along and say you're lying to us What that is so absurd and he got called Out by multiple people on this and he Just kind of instead of like oh yeah I Was wrong he just he kind of dug in Further and so uh the random guy xrp Responded to David Schwartz and said no Neither you or Ripple did mention how You were selling it after stopping Programmatic sales you leaving this Information out will give people the Impression that you just stopped a Programmatic sales alone which is a Different thing than also finding Another way to dump xery this guy he Must really not know what the hell he's Talking about unless he's just being a Troll because this has been publicly Known since before they stopped Programmatic sales I talked about it on My channel when I launched this YouTube Channel and so I launched it at the end Of 2018 I probably have some videos
Talking about then in 2018 and if not Then certainly throughout 2019 of course I've been I've been bringing this up With a certain amount of regularity Because it comes to conversation I've Been bringing it up for years because It's well-known information it's not a Secret they didn't just stop Programmatic and now they're being Sneaky and they found another way to go Select no that wouldn't even make sense What do you like who would that even Trick like we're not selling xrp via Programmatic sales here's how we're Doing it now and they're tricking Somebody in line it's Incoherent and so David Schwarz Responded to him as and said the post You are pretending to be responding to Not only mentions how we're selling it After we stopped programmatic sales it Actually has that part highlighted to Make sure that people wouldn't miss it And so again I don't I don't know how This guy can write with a straight face That David Schwarz is lying to him when In the post that that guy is sharing There's there's comment from David Schwarz highlighting that xrp is only Sold by Ripple in connections with odl Transaction And that's a trick he's saying that You're tricking What some people man like I just I don't
Understand and then this guy is acting Like he is owed a response from Ripple On this and it's nice that David Schwarz Responded he certainly didn't have to to Respond to anything um but somebody here Named sord coin Millionaire on X uh Responded to him and said I love how you Act like you own stock in the company And can help determine how things are Done you're either in or you're out it's Not that deep these quote unquote Concerning questions you have are Moot and there's a separate one I don't Know if I have it pulled up but there's A separate one somewhere where he noted That it's it's like he's acting like he Has stock in Ripple or something to that Effect I don't know if I have it pulled Up here but there's another one I Thought that one was good too I'm like They don't even owe you anything like They're volunteering this information They don't have to give any of this Information and you're acting like They're trying to trick you that is a Nonsense idea that doesn't even make any Sort of rational Sense so uh I thought I'd just update The story here I mean if somebody's Going to make big assertions like this I Mean I am glad that David Schwarz Responded but uh I'd like to spread the Message further here and undoubtedly There's going to be crypto media stories
