Hello this is Matt on the moon Lambo Channel the stain power of xrp is truly Impressive I've mentioned before on my Channel though I suppose it's been a While since I brought this point up but It is the case that over there are over 20,000 cryptocurrencies in existence yet There are only three out of those over 20,000 coins that have always for the Entirety of their existence been in the Top 10 cryptos by market cap that would Be Bitcoin eth and xrp that's it And so outside of that there's been Incredible rotation over the years and This article that's on your screen right Here really end up highlighting in my Mind the true stain power of xrp I mean Despite I mean think about this the Worst thing that could happen to a Crypto arguably other than you know like A hole in the Cod or something like that Um the largest or the worst thing you Know from an external Force let's say That could happen to a crypto did happen To xrp getting attacked by the SEC But that couldn't knock xrp out of the Top 10 coins by market cap and so There's been conversation recently um And for good reason I've made two videos In recent days on this topic about you Know the question of is there sufficient Developer activity on The xrp Ledger and I don't want to rehash everything that I Said the answer might be yes even though
Other there's way more developer Activity on other change I fleshed out My ideas on that why so that's not the Reason that I'm making this video but Still um I think that this kind of Drives the point home it's like it looks To me like the market actually is Sufficiently factoring in everything That it needs to when it comes to the Price action of xrp and so that's why I Will say if Bitcoin hits a new all-time High and then xrp doesn't follow I'm Going to revisit this thought process Here and and then I'll start to think Okay there's something else wrong here If Bitcoin hits a new alltime high and Uh you know and we have an ALT Seas Other coins are taking off hit alltime Eyes and xrp doesn't come along for the Ride then I'm going to revisit these Thoughts but until then um even though I Think that we should of course push for More developer activity my position is That what's most probable at this point In time is that the market actually is Sufficiently of factoring in anything That needs to be factored in when it Comes to price action here and I'll I'll Explain why as we get a little bit Further in this video but uh before Going further I do want to be clear I do Not have a financial background of any Kind I am not offering Financial advice And you definitely should not buy sell
Anything because of anything I say or Right I'm just an Enthusiast who enjoys Making YouTube videos about crypto Related topics but just as a hobby and Just for fun all right so here's the Headline from the daily hudle panta Capital says current crypto Bull Run Remarkably different from 2021 here's why an American hedge fund And investment firm that specializes in Digital assets says the crypto bull Market is unlike the bull run from 3 Years ago in a new blog post panta Capital liquid strategies portfolio Manager Cosmo Jang and head of content Eric low say that 2021s bull run was in Part driven by speculative froth and so Folks just to be clear in what I was Stating at the outside of my video I Understand that there can be irrational Exuberance in markets I'm just noting When I'm saying that you know xrp is More or less appropriately priced first Of all I acknowledge that there's been Artificial price freshman as a result of What happened with the SEC I'm just Noting that the fact that xrp has been For its entire existence in the top 10 Cryptos by market cap is because all of The amazing positive attributes of xrp Are being sufficiently or by many people Anyway uh considered when it comes to Pricing xrp that that's broadly speaking The point that I'm trying to make here
And so anyway here's the quote from them Though and this is fascinating check This out because my gosh there's been Quite the rotation of top 10 top 20 Coins in terms of market cap yet xrp Remains it has true stain power it's Exceedingly rare I just I couldn't Possibly be more confident in xrp but Anyway the quote is this rally is Remarkably different from the previous One the 2021 Peak saw a massive churn in The top tokens 14 of the top 20 tokens At the peak of the 2017 Ico initial coin Offering lead boom dropped out of the Top 20 soon after they fell a long way 13 of those Fallen tokens now average 123 by market capitalization so folks Think about that go back to 2017 out of The top 20 coins 13 of them um you know Never got back up there and they now Average position number 123 that's quite a quite a massive fall And then they also note the following And check this out and this is really Fascinating and this is part of the Reason I have confidence that the market Is um it's an D toal but I I it's part Of the reason I think that the the Market is factoring in what it needs to Factor when it comes to price action for These cryptocurrencies they note the Following Tron is the only project that Dropped out of the top 20 and returned In hindsight one can say that was
Speculative froth and hype on Unproductive tokens end quote right so If there's irrational exuberance the Market ends up correcting that and if It's in a bull market it happens in Fairly short order so you're talking About Tron which has by the way almost No developer activity and so this is an Outlier what the hell is the market Doing Tron I didn't check it today but The other day Tron was number 13 in Market Cap look look at this information from Developer report though it has only 16 Full-time developers on the entire Planet 16 that's it you know compare That to ethereum which has what like 24 Or 2500 they have 16 so this is this is a clear indication To me that Developer activity though unquestionably Important it is not the end all be all Other things are considered by the Market and so what I learned and I think That this this probably goes a long way To explain why the market is pricing Tron where it is it's not random I don't Believe it's random at all but Ral Paul Former Goldman Sachs executive Pro xrp Guy he he holds xrp he he he predicted When it was around buck that hey it's Going to be 10 times that's so we've Seen a $10 xrp at some point in the Future very Pro xrp guy I saw an
Interview and I mentioned this in a Video recently but it's worth repeating Because this is such an important fact As far as I'm concerned he he mentioned That uh Tron is actually the largest Stable coin ecosystem in crypto and um And I didn't fact check him on that Because it's Ral Paul and so I'm just Going to take it at face value because I Have that level of trust with the stuff That he's saying if he's he's saying That this is a fact it's just matter of Fact type of statement okay I'll take Him as a word there that would explain This wouldn't it not much developer Activity but if it's got this large Stable coin activity is that something That's valuable uh to the space the Market seems to be saying yes and so That's why when I look at what's Happening with xrp specifically does it Need to have 112 billion developers Building stuff in order for xrp to be Successful well not Necessarily in in fact I think the Market is telling us that it's not the Case xrp is just really good at payments And you can build stuff on it there's All sorts of reason and there is real World ad option I I think the market is Telling us that's what's more important Here um because otherwise why would Tron Be where it is I don't think it's dumb Luck that Tron is number 13 in market
Cap out of over 20,000 Coins anyway peace continues according To panta the top coins in this year's Bull cycle have a constancy that makes This bull run distinct from the 2021s Run from 2021s Run quote the 14 tokens That fell out of the 2017 top 20 were All replaced by tokens that didn't even Exist at the time of the prior Peak That's wild pure creative destruction What's been interesting about this rally Is how little change there has been it's The polar opposite of the previous cycle This time all of the top six which Account for 83% of market capitalization Are the same eight of the top 10 are the Same 14 Tok stayed in the top 20 folks That is that part is way different Because again about look at how many Tokens from 2017 fell out and never Returned already highlighted that and Now we're seeing that the top 20 this Time around perhaps just because the Market's more mature now they're still Relatively in the same position and xrp Is one of those and I think that shows The staying power xrp is healthy on the Whole now of course I still do think as I've cited in recent videos that of Course we should focus on uh making sure That the the technical abilities of xrp Well known because there there Undoubtedly are developers that would be Building more stuff on The xrp Ledger if
They were aware of it and we can always Push for that um no dispute there Whatsoever and it's not that I have 100% Conviction in this in what I'm stating Right here in terms of the importance of Uh developer activity um I I think that Uh you Know that that would be too much like to State that I have 100% convi this I'm Just telling you the way that I'm Thinking at this particular moment in Time and it's it's not bad it's good so Far as I can see here anyway peace Continues the digital assets hedge fund Points out that there has been only one Stronghold throughout the market Cycles The dominance of Bitcoin quote over all Those Cycles Bitcoin is the constant in The 12 years since lightcoin launched Only four tokens have held the number Two position Litecoin xrp ethereum and Bitcoin cash Bitcoin cash only held it For one day Bitcoin has always held the Title belt end quote so honestly I think Things look really good here as long as Xrp is functionally useful like why Would I why would I have extreme concern And again there is something to be said For Stuff being built but that's why I Always go back to my um my entire Investment thesis right that the Overarching idea which is that utility Matters then will win the day xrp has That and also you know most of these
These projects that are being built out Right now fast forward a decade how many Of them are even going to exist I I'd be Willing to bet less than 1% of Them which you'd expect you know with Technology this nent people trying all Sorts of stuff most ideas are bad are Going to fail most businesses fail on Top of that uh but but that's normal That's good that this is what you should This is what people should be doing Experimenting trying things just Building stuff right but it's so it's Not the quantity that of of projects That matters it's the quality of them Are there quality projects being built On The xrp Ledger unquestionably yes and I again it just looks to me like this is The reason xrp has staining power the Market is recognizing that or else xrp Wouldn't be number six in market cap Today it would have fallen out of the Top 10 it might have fallen out of the Top 20 but that's not what has Happened so that's why on the whole I Actually think that things are looking Pretty damn good honestly I I I think we Have selected a winner let's say I'm not A financial adviser you should not buy Or sell anything because of anything I Say or right that would be a very very Very bad idea until next time to the Moon Lambo
