Carbone from the digital chamber here he Says a new legislative proposal Discussion draft from Senator Tom Tillis And Bill Hagerty from Tennessee which Creates a new digital asset financial Institution or fi right uh regulatory Regime an alternative to other ilicit Finance proposals and expected fixture At tomorrow's Senate banking hearing Which is today ladies and gentlemen and Importantly this legislation explicitly States that Miners validators and other Blockchainbased service Prov providers Are not financial institutions a big Deal if you've been monitoring this Debate and we have shout out to Cody for That he will be on stage with us at xrp Las Vegas and we're super excited to Have him there no doubt about it I want You to listen to this because this guy's Got it right I think shout out to high Vibe for this give him a follow um this Is will there be in xrp ETF and other ETFs oh I think so in the future once More crypto are deemed non-securities You're going to see spy ETS for say Metaverse or nft space or games um you Know thinking just thinking out loud Right now right after ethereum spot ETFs Are approved well there there's ethereum Futures ETF Futures based ETF and spot ETFs but I think right afterwards we're Probably going see xrp one because xrp Was just deemed a non-security right so
It makes sense that there will be a xrp Spy ETF soon and then yeah and as time Goes on I think we'll get more and then Fund managers will be smart about it and You know put it together there may be a Crypto one where it's Bitcoin ethereum And xrp or something like that I think That's all correct I think that's all Correct we're going to see an xrp spot ETF we're going to see all kinds of Other crypto ETFs and then baskets of ETFs for ETFs I I I really do believe We're going to see all of that the Market is just getting started no Question about it uh I want you to Listen to this and we're not going to Listen to all of it but this will let You know exactly what's going on here Fiser webinar is going to talk about all The things that you want to know about And when I say all the things let me Just hit you with it we're talking about Uh Legacy format Iso20022 Big Bang cut over oh yeah uh we Got all of that uh take a listen real Quick we won't listen to the whole thing Take a listen change the implementation Approach or timing by the way just Really quickly the the the webinar Cuts In and out a little bit but you can Distinguish what they're saying it's not Our feed it's the actual recording so We're hoping to publish the final um Analysis of the public comment time in
Early 2019 um so with that I'll I'll just go Through and provide a highlevel um Overview of each of the three Phases so the first phase is we're going To be implementing changes to our Proprietary format to get us ready to go To ISO so our phase one will be Implemented in November of 2020 um it will be a big bang Implementation meaning that we'll be Migrating all of our customer customers On the same cut over date so that's Already Happened and we're aligning the date to The same date that Swift will be making Its changes for their Mt 2020 release And so it with this change we're making Changes to our proprietary format we're Doing a lot of cleanup we're removing a Lot of um obsolete Fields we're putting In some tighter edits um we're trying to Align our format more closely to the Swift Mt format and doing this will make The migration in phase two much Easier so phase two uh this this we're Calling our ISO like for like phase and Like for like means that during this Period it's going to be an 18mon migration period we be migrating Our customers to sending and receiving ISO Messages but the messages are going to Be limited to the fields and character
Lengths that we support today in our Proprietary Format it's the term like for like so Even though it is ISO it's going to be Very similar to our Legacy format and The reason that we're doing it this way Is because we're going to be migrating Our customers in waves over the 18 Months so that's from the the Legacy Format to the Iso20022 Standardization of messaging format Which is interesting because that's more Than a decade old the iso20022 and she Distinguishes the difference between Legacy format and ISO format which we Know is obviously integrated with Distributed Ledger technology and coding Of digital assets so you can not only Move that rich messaging data across Iso20022 but you can also Al move the Value the tokenized value along with it With that complement now it does go on Here and I want to just play this very Quickly here it does go on here to say Phase three will kick in 2023 November So fiser is already ahead of the game Here um so you know is an explanation of The the overall implementation approach And and the timing for that phase three Is November of 2020 So according to fizer a lot of this Change over for them has been done and It's going to come down to their clients
