Presentations made in various locations Leading up to an initial public offering The road show is a sales pitch or prom Motion made by the underwriting firm and A company's management team to potential Investors before going public so folks Again they're looking for a new person To join that team that's what Ripple's Doing right here so as far as I'm Concerned this is something that's an Inevitability and and you know Brad Garing house before they got sued by the SEC that he stated Ripple absolutely you Know wouldn't be the first wouldn't be The last that's the message that Brad Garling house conveyed as it pertain to Ripple going public and you know the First for minute up being coinbase but I Do think that Ripple would be a public Company today if there hadn't been that That attack by the SEC but they have to Do things in order here and so it's it's Coming folks it's coming uh and then There's this story from the crypto basic 514 million xrp move from Ripple and Bitvavo wallets Sparks new selloff Concern all right folks couple of things On this I don't even need to read the Article there's really just two primary Points I want to make on this because It's fun I don't blame the crypto basic For for covering it like this things get Stated you know the internet is the Internet social media is social Med
Media and everybody's entitled their own Stupid ass opinions but this is silly Nonsense just to be honest with you here All right um first of all a substantial Chunk of what was transferred was from Ripple to bitstamp which is an on demand Liquidity partner although uh on demand Liquidity is now no longer known as on The man liquidity if you go to Ripple's Website I'm sure many of you heard by Now uh it's broadly just known as what Are they calling it now just crossborder Payment solution I think is what they're Calling it now which sounds nondescript But that just encompasses everything That is Ripple nut effect as far as I Can tell uh but no that's it's not and Then but here's the thing even if that Were the case you know you're you're Talking about you know what $250 Million I mean so yeah that's that's a Third of like or but depending on the Volume it's like a third or a fourth of Daily volume for Xrp so in theory if that were all Dropped at once then you could see a Movement in price in theory and it would Be very brief but do you really think That that's what's going to happen if You if there were some whale that were Going to drop that much they want to Sell that much xrp would they do it all At once and drop the market so that they Get less money driving the price down
Even if it's going to drive the price Down which isn't a guarantee would they Do that or if they're going to sell it Might they sell it over a longer percent Longer period of time even if it's a Matter of weeks or longer uh you know Well I would think that's what they Would do but it would be such a a small Percentage of global volume it just Wouldn't freaking matter so so that's it That's that's really I had to say just The two primary points it's just silly Nonsense I see crap like this all the Time and sometimes it just steams my Vegetables and I just want to speak on It so now I have opined and now to the Last story and this this one's just for Fun because it's it's just so stupid I'm Glad this guy got his uh he he he in Trouble son the headline from the daily Huddle Silk Road hacker accidentally Showed fed $70 million worth of bitcoin On his laptop before being arrested Police body cam footage shows the Silk Road hacker opening up a laptop with Thousands of Bitcoin on it in front of Federal investigators not realizing he Was incriminating himself good Round of Applause for the freaking genius here oh My God what a smart idiot who was a Terrible person with no Morals James zong was charged by the US Government last year for stealing more Than 50,000 Bitcoin from the illicit
Online Marketplace Silk Road in 202 so Folks think about this he was getting Away with this for the better part of a Decade stolen in 2012 nobody knew what Had happened to it 50,000 Bitcoin which Ultimately became worth at its height Worth over $3 Billion and then oops the Doodles here's What I have put it on your camera rard This Like let me just go through it though It's it's hard to believe this is real In 2019 after his house is broken into Zong called the police to inform them Them despite having mountains of Incriminating evidence lying around in His home zong revealed over the phone That he was an investor in Bitcoin Putting himself on the radar of Investigators at the same time the IRS Criminal investigation was painstakingly Trying to solve the Silk Road hack of 2013 analyzing details of its onchain Paper trail ultimately an investigator From the blockchain analytics firm Chainalysis who was hired by the Government noticed that an address Associated with the Silk Road hacker Accidentally performed a kyc which Stands for know your customer a routin With a crypto exchange revealing zong's Name and home address months after his 911 call Folks how do you go so long not getting
Caught you're just sitting tight with The stuff and then you the the address Associated with that hack from 2012 you you you you you engage in a kyc Related transaction with that address How do you accidentally do this what a What a smart idiot how is this even Possible who the hell does this this is Amazing that this has happened Here of course he was going to be Screwed after that and I just it makes Me wonder if he even knew it the because Did he not know that he did I how is This even possible the article never Ends up going into that level of detail But let's go a little bit further cuz Some more interesting parts With help from Sha mcder CEO of a cyber Intelligence company block trace the IRS Created a plan to enter zong's home and Talk to him under the offices of Investigating the break and Enter that He had reported earlier once inside zong Made the grave mistake of telling Investigators he was a Bitcoin OG and That he had 1,500 Bitcoin sitting on one laptop Alone which he then pre proceeded to Show investigators on camera says mcder Of block Trace quote lo and behold he Had 60 or 70 million worth of Bitcoins Right there next to us end quote so There you go out of the the 50,000 Bitcoin 1,500 happened to be right there
In that wallet which at the time was Were 60 or 70 million and they caught it On camera this guy how do you why would You be showing this why would this be on Your Screen my god did was it a break thing Was he just trying to show off look what I have or something like this my God Anyway then peace continues it was also Revealed that zong was one of the Earliest contributors to the development Of Bitcoin and routinely posted advice And suggestions on online forums for how To improve the Bitcoin protocol Investigators returned the following day Still under the pretext that they were Helping him but instead executed a Search warrant and folks check this out This gets wild using a and this I don't Know I how does this even possible using A dog trained to find computer Hardware the agents found the wallets With the addresses to the 50,000 Bitcoin Once worth over $3 billion sitting in a Safe buried in concrete underneath Zong's basement floor zong was sentenced To one year and one day in prison for His role in the Silk Road hacking Incident okay I just so many questions Here So he so he's got the Bitcoin It's it's it's on a device in a wallet Covered up by Concrete and they got a dog there to
