Hello this is Matt on the moon Lambo Channel there's some fake xrp news that Has been circulating like crazy over the Last 24 hours undoubtedly now seen by Millions of people just based off the Number of reposts on X alone uh so that Wouldn't include you know anybody that Uh covered it on YouTube or or crypto Media outlets and the headline on your Screen says it all here it is uh from Coin Telegraph Roblox integrates xrp as Payment method so the only problem there Is that is not remotely true and so I Once I found out that this was fake I Couldn't help but laugh a little bit Because here you have poor little coin Telegraph uh they have this happen and Yall may recall just the day before just One freaking day before they reported uh A fake additional fake news which was That black rock was approved for their Spot Bitcoin ETF causing the price of Bitcoin to Rocket Up What $22,000 about 10% in in a a matter Of 10 15 minutes whatever it ended up Being uh and then of course it was Discovered to be fake news and then it Crashed right back on down uh and that Was coin telegraph's fault and so here You have two days in a row backtack Failures now and here's and here's the Um a post from decrypt debunking all of This um which I also shared on X Roblox Debunks inaccurate xrp support claims
Says crypto payment Not Allowed um but before going further I do Want to be clear I do not have a Financial background of any kind I am Not offering Financial advice and you Definitely should not buy or sell Anything because of anything I say or Right I'm just an Enthusiast who enjoys Making YouTube videos about crypto Related topics but just as a hobby and Just for fun now to be fair here because I always want to be fair I'm a fair type Of guy uh I I actually I want to note That coin Telegraph is not even close to The only media outlet that reported There pretty much every crypto media Outlet under the sun did uh tons of Coverage on YouTube and to be honest With you I really don't blame uh the Crypto media for covering this and I'll Explain why as we get into this this is A little bit different than coin Telegraph because the day before when They had that fake Black Rock Spot Bitcoin ETF approval news that was Obviously their fault and I don't want To rehash all of that but um I fully Explained that yesterday it's just Bizarre that that's real life um and Just in case you're wondering what Roblox is because I was definitely Wondering as well I feel like I've heard The name Roblox before but I I I didn't
Really know what it was but anyway it's A video game a multiplayer video game uh That's really for the purposes of this Video all you need to know if you're Curious more about what type of video Game it is do a little Googling I Watched a two a half minute video on it And uh looks interesting but I you know But I wanted to make a point here like This actually would have been gigantic News if true and there's this article From CNN August 11th of this year what Is Roblox here's everything you need to Know and I don't want to read the Article but there are a couple of uh Data points in here that I found Fascinating because again you're talking About xrp being part of this ecosystem Which has 214 million players per month and uh Makes about $7 million per day and so You're talking about plugging xrp into That environment for for to actually pay For Stuff um and so coin Telegraph rushed to Put that out and here's the actual Article um which is now replaced uh by a Correction here from coin Tel so to Their credit they corrected it uh Roblox Denies bit pay announcement claiming it Will accept Xrp and you can see if you look at the Address here up in the for those you Looking at the screen if you look at the
Address bar here you can see that the Original um title is saved in the Address bar Roblox integrates xrp Payment method and so they replace that Article which is good is what you should Do here but anyway uh let's let's go to The coverage from from decrypt here cuz They had a pretty thorough coverage of This on social media false Claims can Spread like wildfire even well after the Source media has been deleted Roblox has Denied that it will support xrp payments Despite claims that spread widely on Tuesday telling decrypt that any Suggestion that Gamers could buy Roo to Pay for in-game items with Ripple's xrp Token is Inaccurate the rumors began swirling Late Monday when payments processor B Pay uh tweeted that users could begin Using Ripple's xrp token for X solo Payments in supported games and tagged The free-to-play games Roblox and smite And so folks a couple minutes ago when I Said I actually don't blame crypto Media Or frankly anybody that was sharing this News on social media or telling people About it it's because the news it Actually came from bito uh bitpay which Is obviously a very reputable source and When they make a claim about a business Business Arrangement that they're Associated with uh there's no reason to Think that they would be lying about
That and so then when Crypt media Outlets report what came from the source And then the find out that the source Put out something that's not true it's Not then crypto media's fault so anybody That shared this in social media I don't Blame you um I I remember reading about This and thinking oh wow that's pretty Cool I'll have to learn about Roblox Because I just like what I don't know What what the hell is a Roblox I think I've heard of it before but I don't Really know anything about it and then When I went back later to check that out I found out that it was fake but anyway It's actually not coin telegraph's fault I'm actually just kind of having a Little fun with that but I do want to Clean this up because again like I said Millions of people by now have seen this So I'm going to try and clean up the Mess here a little Bit Um and so anyway piece continues here From decrypt exola now accepts xrp with Bit pay as a payment method for their Games such as Smite and Roblox bit pay Wrote in a now deleted post and here I Actually pull this up I'm not going to Read the whole thing but in case you Want to see it if you want to pause Right here this is the post on X Formerly known as Twitter if you want to Pause and take a take a gander here this
Is it but I'm going to keep rolling Along here and so I'm glad that they Corrected this but Um you know you kind of Wonder like how How is it how is it that this actually Happened is it possible that it's just The was it sloppily Worded um you know what actually here I I will read this because there's a part Below in this article from the crypto Basic which I do want to highlight cu The crypto basic cover this too and Again I don't I actually don't blame any Crypto media outlets for covering Because again it's from a source if the Source lies or gets something wrong and Then crypto media reports on the source What the source said well they're just Doing their job reporting it's not their Their job to like you can't necessarily You know it's like can you imagine like A company puts out a press release People report what comes out from the Press relief release and you find out That the information in the press Release from a company is not true do You go and blame the media no you blame The company that put out the false press Release so that's basically what I look At it here but uh credit to Crypt basic For for correcting this too bit pay U-turn initial announcement of xrp Payments for Exel and robox deleted and And so anyway the the now deleted post
Reads exactly as follows news alert this Is from bit pay mind you exola now Accepts xrp with bit pay as a payment Method for their games such as Smite Game and at ROBLOX you can use your Favorite cryptocurrency to buy play and Enjoy gaming like never before and so Again that's literally not true it's Just weird it came from bitay and the Crypt basic digging in further to their Credit um they were seeking an answer Specifically from exol and so this Article from the Crypt basic this part Reads as follows the Crypt basic reached Out to exola on the matter seeking to Ascertain if the announcement was Entirely false or if the process of xrp Integration was ongoing but not yet Completed however a spokes person from Exola declined to give a precise answer Okay so I don't know why that is this is Is weird though how how does something Like this even get messed up because This is very specific about xrp it's Very specific if it's not true okay it's Not true I accept that but what in the Ever loving hell actually happened here I do not know at this point folks so Anyway like I said I just wanted to Share this because this is getting Circulated like Crazy and uh it's not true so now you Know I'm not a financial adviser you Should not buy sell anything because of
