Institutional investors like hedge funds U that are speculating on the price of Gold as you mentioned Gold has done well over the last quarter But over the last year it's lagged the SNP and spectacular Investments like Nvidia and uh and and others so I do Think that uh people saw gold as lagging And the institutional investors are Piling in right while they get the Retail to buy the Bitcoin ETF now Anthony pomp leano I didn't play this Part of this thing um this video on CNBC From this morning this is the part where He makes his bitcoin price prediction Which means that the upside gets more Limited but also the downside is muted Um we'll take Kathy Wood's prediction Out of it but for the next 12 months for You yeah potential High upside potential Downside I I think downside is pretty Muted at this point like it again it's Impossible to tell there's always the External event that could occur but I Would say I don't see it going below Like 50,000 at any point I think we've Kind of crossed over that Rubicon um in Terms of upside I think we get over 100,000 in the next you know 12 18 Months maybe we could get to 150 to 200 Somewhere in that range but like we go Up from here I just don't think people Should expect the explosive you know th% Move from here through the rest of the

Secondly do we think that Bitcoin might Pose a systemic risk in any kind of way To the global economy yeah thanks so Much for uh those um um you know Important um those questions about two Important n classes so uh indeed the Gold price um has reached historically High levels uh and you know big coin has Has fluctuated uh but also uh reached a A historical High Earlier this year um so let me start With gold um um we see uh two um you Know drivers here um so one is certainly Uh some uh reallocation of Reserve asset Managers uh tows Commodities uh that Include gold um and that could be one Contributor to to those valuations uh The second one is of course uh um you Know a speculative um uh behavior um you Know as I pointed out at the beginning Uh U uh volatility in financial markets Is fairly compressed but of course a Deeper economic uncertainty Still Remains fairly High geopolitical Uncertainty remains high and uh gold is Is oftentimes viewed as a as a kind of a Hedge against those broader geopolitical Risks in terms of Bitcoin valuations of Course uh it is uh difficult to to pin Down uh the fundamental drivers uh of of Bitcoin uh Valuations um and um you know One Technical factor that has played a role Is um uh the um um development of etps
So ex exchange traded products uh that Have been uh allowed in the US um so When look at soort like allocations to To bitcoin um since the beginning of the Year there's certainly been um you know A substantial inflow uh in those uh Investments through the etps I don't Know Jason whether you want to uh Compliment me yes I think in this regard Um this is the important part right here Of view is the authorities should Encourage um and monitor the regulated Entities on the exposures both to um the Cryptocurrency itself as as well as some Of these derivative products that um Like etps that tovs has Mentioned so the follow-up question was But POS a systemic risk so uh we don't See it as a systemic risk at this point But we do view it as a risk um and um as A potential risk going forward as well So the IMF has worked closely with the Financial stability board to develop a Policy framework for crypto assets um And this includes a a regulatory Approach as well as a broader Microeconomic policy let me translate What you just heard remember when Ryan Celus remember when we covered Ryan Celus saying a that he thought that they Could confiscate Bitcoin as a security Risk let me translate what this guy just Said he said look governments around the World Brad garlinghouse said this a long
Time ago governments around the the World before you replace the banks and Central banks they will bring out the Tanks okay so the second that Bitcoin Becomes a systemic risk in other words And I remember Mike nrat saying Something that caught my attention one Time he says I almost don't want Bitcoin To get to a million because if it gets To a million he said that that means That we've got major major problems in This country so my point is folks if Bitcoin gets to a price that they Consider this could have been their plan All Al if it getss to a a place that They considered a systemic risk it Wouldn't be anything for these guys to Issue some kind of executive order to Get everybody to turn their Bitcoin in Or if they if they I mean this is how The government works folks there are no Limitations if you'll pass an executive Order in the in the 30s to confiscate Gold and give you a what they say is a Fair market value for your gold They can do anything folks all they need Is an emergency look what they did in The financial crisis declare an Emergency and you can suspend bankruptcy Laws suspend Everything and that's what they'll do if It becomes a risk and I don't think Ryan Celus was saying that for no reason now Xrp Las Vegas folks it's coming up 15
