Joseph lubben has his own arrogance God Complex to blame for anything that comes His way all we wanted was a Level Playing Field where the entire entire Digital asset space could grow and Innovate they he wanted a monopoly I Don't even want them to declare ethereum Of security I don't want them to declare Bitcoin as security I want all digital Assets to get their own framework where Everybody can have a Level Playing Field Grow and Innovate that's all we ever wanted was a Level Playing Field but this is Gary Trying to do he knows that's what Everybody wants and this is Gary trying To do Shady things that Gary does but I Want but it apparently doesn't matter What Gary does according to Joseph Luben I made sure that I tacked Joseph lubin's Comments onto the end of what the cftc Chairman said so you can see it all Together if we do have any action by the SEC to essentially validate um that Decision I.E you know constituting ether As a security it would then put our Registrants our exch changes to list Ether as a Futures Contract sort of in Non-compliance of SEC rules as opposed To cftc rules so I am working with chair Gensler we're working with his office We're working with the agency to ensure That whatever steps are taken are Deliberate that we're involved and that
They understand certainly what the Consequences would be if there was a Decision by the agency to determine that Ether was a security as of now we need To preserve the Integrity of our markets And understand that this is a years old Decision where these markets are Functioning well under the under the the Decision and the conclusion that ether Is a commodity almost out of time just In terms of what you would say to Regulators that are trying to say that Ethereum is a security and should be Treated as Such um well Regulators have spoken the SEC has spoken uh Bill Hinman uh made a Speech I think it was in mid 2018 it it was disclosed that uh I think 18 of his colleagues at the SEC worked On the speech with so the SEC actually Spoke the cftc has spoken very crisply These are US Agencies very crisply a Number of times that that they consider Ether a commodity and not a security and So it it's really um a foregone Conclusion at this point uh there may be A regulator or two in the United States That can't bring himself to utter the Fact that uh that ether is not a Security but uh I don't know why that's The and and ultimately that just doesn't Matter I'll say this if they do declare Eth of security Joseph Luben can learn a Very valuable lesson potentially from a
